Located on a beautiful beach with a stunning view. Friendly staff and helpful service. Clean rooms and a nice pool area. Delicious food and a wide variety of options for breakfast.

Location and Beach very good.

Support and proper advise for transfer from distant ports of Cat Ba island , (ferries coming from Halong Bay). Staff should mention about Mafia's existence:taxis and QH buses for transfer.

The scenery is just breathtaking and you see all the rock formations from the room balcony. It is the best situated hotel on the Island. The staff were just so helpful in all ways. We took a tour organised by the Hotel across the Cat Ba National Park and this too was all very well organised. We had a very good stay, the only thing was that it was not summer and we could not take advantage of the lovely beach and pool.

Could do with some heating in the room.

cleanliness was top-notch. The location was amazing - with a private beach - beautiful beach bar, and a nice pool. The breakfast was excellent - with a variety of Chinese dishes and delicious Vietnamese fare. I also loved the convenience of them handling all our transportation and the seamless organization of the tours we booked through them.

It was so beatiful the place, and we would love to go there again. The beach, pool and food was just great.

Can't fault the property in any way.

The hotel is in an lovely setting, directly on to a small beach, away from the hussle of the town. It is well laid out around a nice pool with comfortable rooms.

The food was of very average quality, and the service was poor considering that we were paying western prices at $155 per night. At this price one is entitled to expect outstanding service and what we got was moderate. We were served an evening meal in such a slipshod manner that that we had to send it back and refuse payment. We were astounded when we found on checkout that the full cost of our accomodation had been charged to my credit card THE DAY BEFORE WE ARRIVED. The manager refused to accept that there was anything wrong with this. A subsequent complaint to Booked.net has confirmed that this should not have happened. But anyone staying in this hotel should beware of the practice.

The location and views were lovely.

Customer service was appalling. This was our honeymoon and we were treated as a hindrance rather than being made to feel special. Staff were constantly rude to us and ignored our requests (eg. When we asked them to turn the deafening dance music down on the beach when we were the only people on the beach.)

The location by palm trees on the only beach available on the island is amazing. The hotel facilities are also great with a pool that can be used at night, and the restaurants serve delicious food. The hotel staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to help. The transportation is easy, with shuttles available and taxis inexpensive.

Everything is what I need and want.

The setting was beautiful. The poor weather spoilt our stay, and the food was average. More staff need to speak English; little knowledge of basic English

Paying for a map.

The resort is situated a convenient distance from town, though there's a steep hill leading to the free beach. the Island boasts beautiful views of the surrounding area, making it an attractive place to stay. Rooms are comfortable, service is excellent and the breakfast is outstanding. the private beach is only a short walk from the resort and offers many facilities to enjoy.

The surrounding infrastructure on the island leaves something to be desired.

Location great, private beach, pool, spa facilities, spacious and clean rooms, nice place to relax for a few days. Our whole family enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
